Project Management Software

At Crank'd Media, we faced the challenge of managing multiple projects and client relationships effectively. This often felt overwhelming due to the lack of a tailored solution. To address this, I helped develop project and client management software specifically designed for our agency's needs. This software streamlined our workflow, from estimating project costs and managing tasks and deliverables to handling invoicing processes. By integrating these critical functions into one platform, we improved our efficiency and enhanced our ability to serve clients effectively.

A key aspect of this project was creating a custom component library. This library ensured design consistency across the application while allowing our team to rapidly develop new features without compromising aesthetics or functionality. Additionally, I implemented a websockets feature that enables real-time comments within the application. This functionality allows team members and clients to engage in discussions directly on models such as Tasks, Projects, and Invoices, fostering collaboration and direct communication. Additionally I added a presence feature that shows who is currently viewing the comment section, further enhancing real-time communication.

Overall, this project has significantly transformed how we operate at Crank'd Media, leading to improved workflows and ensuring effective communication within our team and with our clients.
